A client is, in organizational terms, an independent unit in the system.
Each client has its own data enviroment and therefore its own master
data, transaction data and assigned user master record. there are three information to access sap : client, user, password.
a waring message appears if the same user attempts to log on more than
once. The massage offers three option : continue with the current log on
and end any other session (s) of the same user in the system, continue
with log on without ending other sessions in the system (logged in
system), and terminate current log on attempt.
SAP Easy Syste Acces is the standard entry screen in the system. You
navigate through the system using a compact tree structurea. You can
include an image on the rigt hand side such as your company logon.
you can prevent this image being called by switching it off under Extras – Setting – Do not display screen.
in SAP Easy Access you can create a favorite list containing :
- transaction
- files
- web addresses
System Menu Option :
1. /n – End the current transaction
2. /o – Open a new session
3. /i – ends the current session
4. /oXXX – where XXXX is a transaction code takes you to the specified
transaction code such as / opa 30 will open new session at the
transaction code pa30 – maintain master data.
one with server information, the other two with status information.
